AewoFrame — Privacy Policy

AewoFrame is an SVG viewer and converter that works entirely on your device. The App does not connect to our servers, does not create online accounts, and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Files you import or create stay in the App sandbox on your iPhone unless you choose to share them or save them to Photos.

Information We Collect

Short answer: none

Personal information We do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, address, or any other identifier.

Usage & analytics No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs are built into the App. We do not record how you use it.

Your files SVG files, imported images, and exports are processed and stored locally. They are never uploaded by AewoFrame.

Diagnostics If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us anonymized crash reports. We use them only to fix bugs.

Information Stored on Your Device

Kept in the App sandbox and never sent to us

My Files — SVG files you import from Files, open from other apps, or create from photos.
Con Files — PNG, JPEG, PDF, edited SVG, and source code files you export.
Coin balance — your coin count and whether the one-time welcome grant was given.
Sign-in state — a local on/off flag. No username, password, or email is involved.

In-App Purchases

Handled by Apple

Coin purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card or Apple Account details.
The App only receives a signed transaction confirmation from Apple on your device, which it uses to add coins to your balance.
Apple’s handling of purchase data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

Photo Library — Add Only

Used

Used only when you convert a file to PNG or JPEG and keep Also save images to Photos turned on. AewoFrame requests write/add access so converted images can be saved to your library. The App does not browse or read your existing photo library through this permission.

“AewoFrame saves your converted PNG and JPEG images to your photo library when you choose to save exports to Photos.”

Features That Do Not Need Extra Permissions

Handled by system UI or local storage

Import SVG Files Uses the iOS document picker, or “Open in AewoFrame” from Files and other apps. Only the files you pick are copied into the App.

Import from Photos Uses Apple’s PHPicker. You choose images in the system picker. AewoFrame does not need full Photo Library read permission.

My Files & Con Files SVG files and exports are stored in the App’s Documents sandbox on your device.

Share Sheet & Coin Shop Sharing uses the iOS share sheet; destination apps handle their own permissions. Purchases go through Apple StoreKit.

When Permission Is Requested & How to Change It

Always tied to an action you start

Open a file → Convert & Export → choose PNG and/or JPEG → leave Photos saving on → start conversion. iOS then shows the add-access prompt the first time.
If you deny access, conversion still finishes inside Con Files; saving to Photos is skipped and the App tells you so.
Turn off “Also save images to Photos” before converting if you never want the App to use this permission.
Change it any time in Settings → AewoFrame → Photos: choose Add Photos Only or None.

Data Retention & Deletion

You are in control

Local data is kept until you delete it. You can delete individual files in My Files or Con Files at any time.
Clear Data in the side menu permanently deletes all files, exports, the coin balance, and the sign-in state on this device.
Deleting the App from your iPhone removes all of its data.
Because we hold no data on servers, there is nothing stored by us that needs to be deleted. You can still contact us with any privacy request.

Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or share data

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Files leave the App only when you send them yourself with the share sheet or save them to Photos.
The App relies on Apple system services (StoreKit, Photos, Files), which are governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

Suitable for a general audience

AewoFrame does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Purchases by minors are subject to Apple’s parental controls such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time.

We will keep you informed

If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
Material changes will also be reflected in the App before they take effect.
